Day 1

Arrival and Transfer

to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala. Drive west through Uganda's beautiful countryside, passing traditional villages, tea plantations, and the Equator, where you'll stop for photographs and refreshments. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in at your lodge. Relax and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the exciting primate experiences ahead.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Tracking

in Kalinzu Forest – Transfer to Bwindi

After an early breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, walk through the tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzees while also encountering other primates, colorful birds, butterflies, and diverse forest flora. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing their fascinating social behavior in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue with a scenic drive through the Ishasha Sector, renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions (with a chance to spot them if time allows), before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking

in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before setting off into the ancient rainforest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek may last anywhere from two to eight hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once you find your assigned gorilla family, you will spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, play, groom, and interact in their natural environment. This extraordinary wildlife encounter is considered one of the greatest experiences in Africa. After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and celebrate your achievement.

Day 4

Bwindi & Transfer to

Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, depart for the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa's most scenic lakes. Surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with numerous islands, the lake offers the perfect setting to relax after the gorilla trek. Enjoy an optional canoe ride, boat excursion, nature walk, birdwatching, or simply unwind while taking in the tranquil surroundings.

Day 5

Lake Bunyonyi and transfer back

 To Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, enjoying the scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Stop once again at the Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and lunch before continuing to your preferred drop-off location or Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, bringing your unforgettable Ugandan primate adventure to an end.
