Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and prepare for the exciting safari ahead or explore nearby attractions around Entebbe. Enjoy your first evening in Uganda while preparing for the journey through the Pearl of Africa.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest protected area. En route, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience, where you will walk through the sanctuary in search of the endangered white rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging down the rocks below. Enjoy the beautiful scenery before settling into your lodge.

Day 3

Game Drive

& Nile Boat Safari

Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park in search of Uganda's iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, and hyenas. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and numerous bird species before hiking to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.

Murchison Falls & Transfer

To Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through Uganda's countryside. Arrive at the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive through the savannah plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife. The park's beautiful landscapes, crater lakes, and diverse ecosystems make it one of Uganda's most rewarding safari destinations.

Day 5

Game Drive & Kazinga

Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the morning with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best areas for spotting lions and large herds of Uganda kobs. Continue with an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of waterbirds along the shoreline.

Ishasha Sector

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, travel through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through this scenic wilderness area while searching for these unique predators and other wildlife. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey offers spectacular views of Uganda's terraced hills, forests, villages, and the Virunga Volcanoes.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Guided by experienced rangers, enter the ancient Bwindi rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take several hours depending on their location, but the reward is an unforgettable encounter with these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural environment. After spending one magical hour with the gorillas, return to your lodge to relax and celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Bwindi Impenetrable & Transfer

Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation

Entebbe Departure
